Robert Fuchs (1847-1927) was a highly respected professor of Harmony, Counterpoint and Composition at the Vienna Conservatory. This edition contains a detailed bilingual preface, critical remarks, English translations of all the lyrics and a piano part to each choral piece for rehearsals as well as indications as to the range of the individual parts. ETHNO-MASS FOR PEACE

The Ethno-Mass for peace – including celebrated words of Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa, Pope John Paul II, Martin Luther King Jr., … – can be sung in religious services and celebrations, in concerts or at events in support of peace, either with a specific ethno sound or by a gospel choir or in traditional classical choral style. The international language of intercultural music and the spoken texts, quote timless messages of hope and appeals for peace.

In the past 10 years, Lorenz Maierhofer has composed and arranged numerous choral works along with other committed composers for HCCS Choral Series. These works have gained popularity in German-speaking countries as well as internationally. HCCS has become one of the most successful repertoire series in Europe.
